Before You Install
Before installing the Aspen Petroleum Supply Chain Suite of products, perform
the following pre-installation tasks:
Confirm that the SLM is installed and running. (See the SLM
Installation Guide for additional information about installing SLM.)
Obtain the appropriate license file(s) or obtain the I.P. address or
name of the SLM server.
Ensure that the system requirements are met. (See the “System
Requirements” section in the “Overview” chapter.)
Ensure you have local administrative permissions. (See “User
Requirements” section in the “Overview” chapter.)
Install/configure required third-party software (e.g., Microsoft Excel).
Confirm the installation of the AFW client if you are an Aspen PIMSEE
licensee.
