About:
EZTrends Users Should Consider Switching to Aspen Process Explorer CQ00203607 AspenTech recommends that Aspen Process Explorer is used instead of EZTrends. EZTrends was a trending application built for GCS and Setcim. Eventually, AspenTech will stop distributing EZTrends with InfoPlus.21. Port Allocation Issue with InfoPlus.21 Task Service CQ00157440 Although we can specify individual ports for each API server as a command line parameter in the InfoPlus.21 Manager, the Noble Net Portmapper for TCP service still dynamically allocates one more port for the Aspen InfoPlus.21 Task Service. If you open up the port allocated to the Aspen InfoPlus.21 Task Service, you can use the InfoPlus.21 Administrator. The problem is that this port number will change every time the Aspen InfoPlus.21 Task Service is restarted, so no solution exists to port through the firewall. Workaround To configure the Aspen InfoPlus.21 Task Service (program number 300364) to use a specific port number: 1 Add in a registry value RPC_PORT_NUMBER (REG_DWORD) under the key \\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\AspenTech\ InfoPlus.21\10.0\group200 2 Restart the Aspen InfoPlus.21 Task Service and use RCPinfo.exe to verify it. @aGlance Users Should Consider Switching to Process Data Add-Ins CQ00203639 AspenTech recommends using Process Data Add-Ins instead of the @aGlance Method Server now distributed with InfoPlus.21. Eventually, AspenTech will stop distributing the @aGlance Method Server with InfoPlus.21.
